4. Cookies and measurement tools

  • Essential cookies: needed to run the Site and to remember the choice you make in the cookie notice. They are not used to track you, and they cannot be switched off.
  • Site measurement (Google Analytics): we measure how the Site is used, such as which pages are visited and for how long, so we can improve it. This tool sets its own identifier and sends usage data to Google, which processes it outside the Kingdom. We rely on our legitimate interest in measuring and improving our own website, and we do not use it to build advertising audiences. You can opt out for all sites using Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
  • Advertising (TikTok pixel): measures the results of our advertising campaigns and helps us show more relevant ads. It is switched off until you agree, and it sends data to TikTok outside the Kingdom. When you submit a form after agreeing, we also send TikTok a securely hashed version of your email and phone so a conversion can be matched to an ad. If you do not agree, none of this runs.
  • You can review your choice or withdraw your consent at any time from the Cookie settings link at the bottom of any page. Withdrawing takes effect immediately and does not affect anything processed before it.

4b. Legal basis, retention, and where your data goes

  • Legal basis: we process the details you enter in our forms to answer you and to provide the service you asked for, which is processing necessary to take steps at your request. Site measurement rests on our legitimate interest in improving the Site. Advertising cookies and any marketing use of your data rest on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
  • Is it optional? Providing your details is optional. You can browse the Site and use the free calculators without giving them, though we cannot send you a quote or a report without a way to reach you.
  • Who receives your data: Zoho (our CRM, on its Saudi data centre), Google (Sheets, as an independent backup of the same lead record, and Analytics), Resend (transactional email), and TikTok (advertising measurement, only with your consent). Some of these process data outside the Kingdom under their own safeguards. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with unrelated third parties for their own marketing.
  • Retention: we keep enquiry and client records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, and no longer than necessary for the purpose they were collected for. Where a record is no longer needed we delete it or render it anonymous.

5. Data Security

  • We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access or disclosure.
  • However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Third-Party Links

  • The Site may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these sites.

7. Your Rights

  • Under the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law you have the right to be informed of how and why your personal data is processed, to request access to it, to request a copy of it in a readable format, to request that it be corrected or completed, and to request that it be destroyed when it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for.
  • Where our processing rests on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. For advertising cookies, use the Cookie settings link at the bottom of any page. For anything else, email us.
  • You may opt out of receiving promotional communications at any time, and every marketing message we send carries a way to do so.
  • To exercise any of these rights, email info@therightway.sa with the words Personal Data in the subject line. We will respond within the period set by the Law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA).
